The Role An outgoing, extrovert personality who canmeet and exceed sales targets set in the monthly and yearly forecasts and to direct all efforts to maximizing the hotel’s revenues and profits across all revenue streams specifically rooms, small meeting conference and food & beverage operating departments. He / She enjoys interacting with guests and colleagues, as well as to work as a team member to create the most professional sales team in Grand Hyatt Doha.Multi-tasking / multi-skill is vital.
Some of the responsibilities include: To define and target key accounts in the assigned territory, utilizing the Envision database and develop appropriate and effective sales solicitation strategies accordance to the principles of smart selling. To review sales files to ensure correct booking procedures, including group room and meeting program history, contractual agreements, room block analysis, etc.
To maintain complete and supported records of all sales agreements, contract and quotes for the hotel as per Hyatt Hotels Corporation Policies & Procedures. To ensure that all credit and collection procedures that have been established by the hotel are implemented following the established Credit Policies & Procedures.
General responsibilities are to project at all times a positive and motivated attitude, to maintain a high standard of grooming and hygiene at all times, to maintain a good rapport and working relationship with colleagues and all other departments. Full support to Supervisors and team is essential, for any other reasonable duties and responsibilities are assigned.
*Qualifications * * Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management. * Minimum 2 years work experience as Sales Executive or Assistant Manager in hotel operations. * Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must. * German / Russian / French Speaker
