Hyatt Chief Baker (Pre-opening) in DUBAI, United Arab Emirates
As a Chief Baker, you are fully responsible for bakery production, quality controlling of the food and ensure that all food merchandise is in accordance with order sheets and receiving records.
You should have detailed knowledge of locally available food products and ensure to work closely with the Materials Departments, User departments and create relationships with suppliers to ensure a seamless process. Proper product handling on day-to-day basis is the key to control cost.
Work closely with the Pastry chef. Hygiene regulation have to be followed and trained to the associates working with you. Maximizes employee productivity through the use of multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the guests.
* Someone who lives his hobby and is passionate about baking, who is efficient and resourceful in allocation of tasks and enjoys working in a lively, fast paced, high stress environment. * Someone who can inspire his brigade of Chefs to be their best while assuring a close attention to details and quality does not compromise on safe and hygiene practices. * Someone who has a keen sense of inquiring and sourcing alternative indigenous ingredients.
