Hyatt Executive Sous Chef (Western Food Experience) in GUANGZHOU, China

Description:

  • To assist Executive Chef to ensure that all the outlets and event operate successfully, in accordance with the standard of the hotel and are individually profitable.

  • To assist Executive Chef to ensure that all the outlets and event operate successfully, in accordance with the standard of the hotel and are individually profitable.

  • Frequently tastes Food and Beverage in all outlets and is demanding and critical when it comes to Food and Beverage quality.

  • Spends time in the outlets (during peak periods) to ensure that the outlet is managed well by the respective Chef de Cuisine, meeting brand standards and guest expectations.

  • Recruits, selects, motivates and develops a culinary team to work following the operational, financial, administrative philosophies ensuring associate are multi skilled and perform multi tasks and etc.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally with an apprenticeship or professional diploma in Food Production.

  • Minimum 2 years work experience as Executive Sous Chef, or Chef de Cuisine in larger operation.

  • Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills with a flair for creativity are a must.
