Hyatt Pasty Chef in GUANGZHOU, China
Assists with the preparation and regular update of the Food & Beverage Departmental Budget, in close cooperation with the Executive Chef, ensuring targets are met and costs are effectively controlled.
Assists with the input and oversight of product specifications, recipes and other data as required, supporting the smooth operation of Materials Management and Cost Audit functions.
Continuously seeks ways to assist the Outlet management to maximise their revenues and profits through Pastry and Bakery products.
Prepares and supervises daily mise en place and assures that all sections are supplied with fresh and high quality products based on anticipated business levels and etc.
Minimum 2 years experience as Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef in a hotel or restaurant of good standards; preferably with experience in luxury international brands.
Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management will be an advantage.
Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance System is preferred.
