Hyatt Director of Event - Grand Hyatt Hangzhou in HANGZHOU, China

Description:

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the division in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.

  • To ensure the smooth and efficient of the Events department, covering both the catering sales as well as convention services functions of the hotel.

  • To be responsible for meeting the overall Events Department’s revenue and expense targets.

  • To assist with the preparation and regular update of the departmental budget.

  • To assist with the preparation of the annual Marketing Business Plan ensuring Divisional Objectives fully address business objectives of the hotel and the needs of associates.

  • To professionally devise routine telemarketing activities to identify new business opportunities.

  • To ensure an impressive Events Gallery is available to show prospective clients.

  • To remain fully up to date with competitor offers and client expectations, working with the Director of Food & Beverage and Executive Chef.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years work experience as Director of Events/Catering Sales in a luxury brand hotel. Local Hangzhou is plus points.

  • Excellent operational, administrative and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent Customer Relation Skills.

  • Excellent selling & negotiation skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements.

  • Computer Skills, particularly in the use of MS Office and email etc.

  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Preferable prerequisite is experience in Hyatt International.

  • 2年及以上国际品牌酒店会议宴会销售总监工作经验,熟悉杭州市场者优先。
