Hyatt Pastry Lead Cook in INCLINE VILLAGE, Nevada

The Pastry Lead Cook is in charge of creating recipes, measuring ingredients, molding and baking breads and perform all types of baking. Basic understanding of a pastry/baking operation within the hotel. Practice the importance of producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner. Person has basic skills in department training and is capable of assuming department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef. Skills and knowledge to include culinary education, cost control, basic communication and leadership skills and computer skills.


  • Creates baked goods for specific diets (gluten free, sugar free etc.)
  • Inspect the quality of the ingredients and measure them for specific recipes
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
  • Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, organized and be able to handle a fast paced environment.
