Hyatt Food and Beverage Outlet Manager in JAKARTA, Indonesia
Main Duties andResponsibilities
To assist with the development andmaintenance of a detailed Department Operations Manual that reflects policiesand procedures work processes and standards of performance within the Division.
To assists with the preparation andregular update of the Food and Beverage Departmental Budget, in closecooperation with outlet manager and the Director of Food and Beverage ensuringtargets are met and costs are effectively controlled.
To participate in the formulation ofthe Annual Marketing Plan to established a list of marketing activities in linewith the compilation of the Annual Business Plan.
To plan the outlet weekly roster andwork schedules to ensure that the outlet is adequately staffed to handle thelevel of business.
To attend monthly Food and Beveragemeeting and daily operations meeting.
To attend all other meetings andbriefings as directed by the Director of Food and Beverage.
To report “lost and found” items inline with the Park Hyatt Jakarta’s Policies & Procedures.
To liaise and organize with Stewardingand Housekeeping that the established cleaning schedules are strictly adheredto.
Ensures that the Outlet is managedwell by the respective employees and functions to the fullest expectations.
Personally and continuously verifiesthat guests in the Outlet are receiving the best possible personalized service.
Ensures that all employees deliverthe brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
Ensures that employees provideexcellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.
Handles all guest and internalcustomer inquiries and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner,following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
Maintains positive guest andcolleague interactions with good working relationships.
Establishes a rapport with guestsmaintaining good customer relationships.
Exercises efficient PayrollManagement/Resource allocation through the establishment of a flexibleworkforce throughout the Department. This will be based on the principles of aflexible employee base (Full Time and Part Time employees), multi-skilling andmulti-tasking
Directs subordinates to ensureproductivity meets standards given in accordance with Hyatt Design Standards andCriteria and the Hyatt Hotels Corporation’s Divisional Operations Manual.
Focus attention on improvingproductivity levels and the need to prudently manage utility/payroll costswithin acceptable guidelines ensuring optimum deployment and energy efficiencyof all equipment.
Ensure new technology and equipmentare embraced, improving productivity whilst taking work out of the system
Ensures adequate materials areon-hand to perform routine maintenance and assists, if necessary,materials/procurement personnel with sourcing desired/required materials at thebest price.
To ensure that the outlet is kept cleanand organized, both at the front as well as the back of the house.
To ensure that the outlet is managedefficiently according to the established concept statement, providingcourteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times accordingto the established standards.
To be a hands-on leader and bepresent at all times in the outlet.
To control the requisitioning,storage, and service/portioning of beverages.
To control appropriate beverage parstocks are maintained and record any spoilage and wastage.
To ensure that the restaurant/barand surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times.
To handle all guest requests, complaintsand inquiries on food, beverage and service.
To ensure that the outlet cashieringprocedures are strictly adhered to.
To supervise and oversee theoperation and administration of the outlet.
To ensure the smooth and efficientoperation of the Restaurant.
To study, evaluateoperation/procedure and suggest improvements to Assistant Director of Food& Beverage.
