Hyatt Events Sales Manager in JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia
You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
The Events Sales Manager is responsible to act as a sales specialist and be responsible to assist the Events/Catering and related revenue is maximized in the most profitable way in line with the agreed targets.
As Events Sales Manager you will directly be reporting to Director of Events and/or Director of Sales & Marketing.
To assist Director of Events in selling and promoting Park Hyatt Jeddah- Marina club & Spa
To solicit and develop new business for Banqueting and Conferencing facilities within hotel across all revenue centres from identified market segments and sources of business for the hotel.
To solicit and develop new business from identified clients within Jeddah for Park Hyatt Jeddah – Marina Club & Spa.
To increase Banqueting and Catering business by promoting the hotel through establishing good relationship with number of clients in order to meet sales target.
To ensure that banquet space inventories are reviewed and appropriate strategies are followed to ensure optimum utilization of space.
To ensure that all agreements (sales contracts) follow the established hotel policies and procedures and are based on sound commercial judgment.
Minimum 2 years work experience as Events Sales Manager in a luxury international brand hotel.
Good understanding of selling techniques and banquet knowledge.
Computer skills in MS Office, email, Fidelio/Delphi/RESERVE will be an asset.
Good command of English & Arabic languages is a must.
Bachelor degree in sales & marketing or related field.
Only local and candidates with sponsorship transfer will be considered.
