Hyatt Assistant Director of Engineering in JEJU, South Korea
*Hyatt is extremely pleased to prepare the opening for the Grand Hyatt Jeju with a new vision of the Grand Hyatt brand in Jeju, reflective of the island’s unique environment, and providing travelers with our first-class integrated resort service and hospitality. The hotel will be one of the largest Hyatt hotels with 1,600 rooms, 14 food and beverage outlets, and approximately 1,680 square meters of meeting space, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, two spas (European and Korean Jimjil Spa) with a total of eight treatment rooms and a kids club.
General purpose of job is to assist the Director of Engineering in managing the department, through planning, organizing, directing and controlling the Engineering policies and procedures, operation and administration. Assume fully the Director's responsibilities in any absence from the office. Provide support, assistance and information necessary to enable the Director of Engineering to operate effectively. Responsible for the oversight of the operation of the hotel. This includes the inside as well as the outside of the building. Must be knowledgeable in HVAC, Refrigeration, and Electrical Engineering. * *
The position will initially be based in Jeju Island, South Korea.
To be Successful in This Role, You Will Require to Have * Ideally with a university degree or diploma. * Electric, Mechanic, Architecture (More than 12 years experience) * Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must. * Hotel Opening experience and understanding of casino integrated resort operations with a focus on hospitality industry * Korean language skill
