Hyatt Commis Chef - Chinese Festal Casual (Casino) in JEJU, South Korea

Description:
Hyatt is extremely pleased to prepare the opening for the Grand Hyatt Jeju with a new vision of the Grand Hyatt brand in Jeju, reflective of the island’s unique environment, and providing travelers with our first-class integrated resort service and hospitality. The hotel will be one of the largest Hyatt hotels with 1,600 rooms, 14 food and beverage outlets, and approximately 1,200 square meters of meeting space, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, two spas (Western and Korean) with a total of eight treatment rooms and a kids club.

You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running all aspect of Culinary Department at “Hotel” and “LTDC” in line with the Hotel Services Agreement and Hyatt’s Corporate and Functional Strategies, Policies and Grand Hyatt Brand Standards.

To prepare a consistent, high quality food product and ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service that supports the outlet’s operating concept and Hyatt International standards.

The position will initially be based in Jeju City/Island, South Korea.

Qualifications:
To be Successful in This Role, You will Require to Have: * 1 year work experience as Commis Chef or 2 years as Apprentice in a hotel or restaurant with good standards * Basic Culinary skills * good hygiene knowledge * Chinese speaking, second language preferred
