Hyatt Outlet Manager - Hot Pot Restaurant in JEJU, South Korea


Hyatt is extremely pleased to prepare the opening for the Grand Hyatt Jeju with a new vision of the Grand Hyatt brand in Jeju, reflective of the island’s unique environment, and providing travelers with our first-class integrated resort service and hospitality. The hotel will be one of the largest Hyatt hotels with 1,600 rooms, 14 food and beverage outlets, and approximately 1,680 square meters of meeting space, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, two spas (European and Korean Jimjil Spa) with a total of eight treatment rooms and a kids club.

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.

To manage the assigned outlet as a successful independent profit centre, in line with the outlet’s operating concept and Hyatt International standards, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction while operating within budget, helping to ensure the financial success of the outlet.

The position will initially be based in Jeju City/Island, South Korea.


To be successful in this role, you will require to have:

  • Minimum 2 years work experience as Chinese Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a 5 Star Hotel or high-end Hot Pot restaurant.

  • Expert of Chinese Service,Tea Culture and Chinese Spirits.

  • Ideally with a relevant degree, apprenticeship or diploma in Hospitality or restaurant management.Very good knowledge of Chinese Hot Pot style dining

  • Excellent communication, team building and leadership skills

  • Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin), second language preferred.

  • Intermediate computer skills
