Hyatt Chef de Cuisine in KUWAIT CITY, Kuwait

Description:
Grand Hyatt Kuwait is looking for a passionate, dynamic and meticulous culinary professional who enjoys leading, motivating and driving the culinary team of a Modern Brasserie, to deliver the finest of the old world Grand Café with a creative twist. The hotel will feature 302 luxury rooms and suites, four world class F&B venues and the largest event facilities in the city.

This position requires hands-on leadership with strong people management, capable of teaching, mentoring, and inspiring a team in a high volume, upscale restaurant. Ensuring the smooth and efficient day to day operation of the kitchen, while guaranteeing the delivery of the restaurants operational strategies and standards.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who have experience in a similar role in a 5* luxury hotel or Michelin-starred restaurant experience in the following areas: * Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in similar luxury hotels or high-end dining operations * Creativity and out of the box thinking is a must * A relentless and infectious passion for food trends and restaurants concept * Someone with an entrepreneurial mind-set that drives quality * An inspirational, caring and engaging leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skill * A sound pre-opening experience in standalone restaurants or large hotel operations would be advantageous
