Hyatt Director of Sales and Marketing in KUWAIT CITY, Kuwait

Description:
Grand Hyatt Kuwait is looking for an accomplished Director of Sales & Marketing to independently spearhead the pre-opening activities the hotel’s Sales, Events and Marketing verticals. The property will feature 302 luxury rooms and suites, four world class F&B venues and the largest conference and convention facilities in the capital.

The Director of Sales & Marketing will be responsible to function as the commercial strategist for the hotel, and ensure the deployment of appropriate sales and marketing tactics to guarantee the swift positioning of the property. This position requires a hands-on leader with extremely strong people management, communications and organizational skills with an outstanding drive for achieving results.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who have a proven track record in a similar role in reputable five-star luxury hotels, and who display strong traits in the following areas:

• Advanced knowledge of both sales and marketing functions with a minimum five years’ experience • Someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, who is not afraid to challenge the status quo, who thrives in fast pace environments and that is incredibly creative and passionate • A dynamic leadership style with superior communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills • An inspirational, caring and engaging leader with an infectious passion for coaching, mentoring and fostering collaboration • Exceptional experienced in developing comprehensive marketing and public relations plans and initiatives, in support of all promotional activities for the hotel, the F&B venues and the SPA
