About the role Park Hyatt Kyoto is currently seeking an experienced Event Service Assistant Manager who will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Event Service Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing set-up and banquet events of meeting space. Also responsible for supervise event room set-ups, service, and maintenance of all banquet functions and equipment. This role is a highly detailed within the hotel to complete event requirement and create an appealing experience for guests.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

  • Ideally with a university degree in Strategic Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience as Event Service Assistant Manager or Team Leader.
  • Well developed communication and customer relations skills.
  • Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are required
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese is essential
