We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to join our new property in London;Great Scotland Yard.

Few addresses are richer in history and anecdote than this hotel; it is one of the most iconic addresses in London! Part of/The Unbound Collection/by Hyatt. Our newest property in the UK is due to open summer 2019 as a 153-room luxury lifestyle hotel. We are an international 5* hotel, ideally located just a few steps from St James’s, Covent Garden and right next to Trafalgar Square.

About the role:

The Director of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for managing the Sales & Marketing division. Reporting to the General Manager, you will: * Develop the revenue and maximise the profitability of the hotel * Define the product in line with the positioning of the brand * Contribute to the definition/and ensure the implementation of the commercial strategy of the opening hotel * Build and manage your budget in collaboration with the GM * Manage all aspects of the sales and marketing team including; recruitment, building a new strong, fun and vibrant team dynamic, with focus on their development, performance, financial targets and motivation.

About you:

You will have relevantexperience in a similar role in the luxury five star market and an understanding of high end leisure business. With account and people management experience you will have great professional selling and organisation skills and will not be afraid to be different.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels are a must, as is a firm understanding of negotiating skills. Advanced computer knowledge rounds up your profile.
