About The Parlour:
The Parlour is our light, airy, colonial lounge area open throughout the day. The offering is focused on typical lounge snacks including ‘healthy-ish’ options and a signature afternoon tea, which has many highlights, namely remarkable cakes and pastries. This area will specialise in fine loose leaf tea, and as the day progresses a drinks trolley will provide the classically British G&T table-side. The space is elegant and sophisticated with a style of service to accompany, that said it will not be stuffy or formal in any way.
About the role:
As a Lounge Supervisor, you will be required to drive and excel the quality of our brand by constantly exceeding guest expectations through providing exceptional service. Some of the key processes include but are not limited to:
To deliver consistently excellent service, and ensure that service is always in line with our brand ethos.
To ensure the restaurant is completely setup and is persistently in a state of operational readiness.
To have a full understanding and knowledge of the offering and concept
To set motivating and inspirational standards in work ethic, punctuality and appearance.
To always be willing to provide constructive feedback on the food/beverage offering. Have an opinion and give reasons for your viewpoint to ensure progression.
To display complete discretion and sensitivity when handling uncomfortable customer situations/complaints.
To always appear smart and presentable throughout in correct uniform throughout all services.
Ability to motivate and drive the team, displaying staff management of the highest level
You will have an understanding of our unique offering
You will ensure that you are engaging with the customers by optimising their experience and promoting our brand
We expect you to build and maintain effective relationships across the business to provide holistic and smooth service across all outlets
You will be passionate about hospitality and customer service
You will be expected to remain attentive and keep an eye for detail even during busy services to ensure the upmost quality of service is kept at all times
