As we build a vibrant, passionate and fun-loving team, we are seeking a well-experienced Assistant Manager – Events and Meeting Facilities *who assists the *Events and Meeting Facilities Manager with the daily operations of the restaurant, including the selection, development and performance management of employees.

This role is ideal for someone who has experience in five star All Day Dining service. Your role is to support the Event Service Manager to successfully manage the department as an independent profit centre and ensure that the hotel is able to deliver memorable and extraordinary events.

You will provide strong leadership support to the team and ensure that administrative duties related to associates and daily reporting are completed accurately and on time. You will direct associates through their daily routines and interact with customers and work closely with all hotel departments to ensure that all events offerings reflect our focus on quality and creativity delivered in grand style.

Qualifications:
University graduate of hospitality management with a strong passion for food and customer service.

Practical experience in the same role gained from a luxury branded 5 star hotel is essential

Proficient in occupational health and safety standards, team management, report writing

Strong leadership and service recovery skills
