Hyatt Individual Travel/Leisure Travel Sales Manager in MIAMI, Florida

The Individual Travel Sales Manager (Leisure Travel Sales) is responsible for driving transient business with a focus on leisure partnerships for our vibrant, playful Miami Beach hotel with direct access to famous Miami Beach and a kaleidoscope of unique experiences which celebrate our retro-glam roots.

Responsible for: * Understanding, leveraging and communicating needs of individual transient market segments * Managing customer relationships including Travel Advisors, Luxury Consortia and Tour Operators * Drive programming for needs periods, recommendations for pricing and promotions * Participate in Weekly strategy meeting and provide market insight * Maintain consistent communication with partners * Annual contracting, maintenance of contracts, compliance * Managing volume accounts, volume lead generation * Ownership of new business opportunities

Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years experience in Hospitality Sales, Transient experience preferred * Minimum of 5 years hotel experience * Understanding of how to interact directly with customers * Understand sales contracts and booking guidelines to maintain compliance * Ability to establish a maintain high standards of service * Strong leadership skills with focus on cultivating relationships with both external and internal guests * Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and time management * Professional, clear written and verbal communication skills * Ability to learn proprietary operations systems * Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office * Desire to express creativity and innovations through a defined brand-lens * Available to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends based on business needs * Ability to travel
