Hyatt Event Services Manager in NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana

The Event Services Manager will be responsible for managing set-up and banquet events of a 1,200 room hotel with 200,000 sq ft. of meeting space. This person supervises event room set-ups, service, and maintenance of all banquet functions and banquet equipment. This role is a highly detailed within the hotel to complete event requirement and create an appealing experience for guests. This position reports to the Director of Event Services/Banquets and CS.

* A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment. * Refined verbal communication skills * Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances * Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 50 pounds) * Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays * Proficient in basic computer skills * Minimum 2-year associates degree (prefer 4-year degree) * Must have 2-5 years previous Banquets/Event Set-Up Management experience in a mid to large scale operations (400 rooms). * Stable work history with verifiable accomplishments * Excellent professional references * Relatable work experience
