Hyatt Event Services Manager in NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana

The Event Services Manager will be responsible for managing set-up and banquet events of a 1,200-room hotel with 200,000 sq ft. of meeting space. This person supervises event room set-ups, service, and maintenance of all banquet functions and banquet equipment. This role is a highly detailed within the hotel to complete event requirement and create an appealing experience for guests. In addition, this role concentrates on the 2ndand 3rdshifts. This position reports to the Director of Event Services/Banquets and CS.

Qualifications:
* A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. * Refined verbal communication skills * Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances * Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 50 pounds) * Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays * This position concentrates on the 2ndshift (PM Shift) and 3rdshift (Overnight Shift) * Proficient in basic computer skills * Minimum 2-year associates degree (prefer 4-year degree) * Must have 2-5 years previous Banquets/Event Set-Up Management experience in a mid to large scale operations (400 rooms). * Stable work history with verifiable accomplishments * Excellent professional references * Relatable work experience
