Hyatt Corporate Sales Coordinator in NEW YORK CITY, New York

Summary

The Corporate Sales Coordinator will be responsible toassist the Sales Department with administrative duties including but not limited to Word processing, account management, presentation preparation and customer follow up. This position will also coordinate account client needs and client events. The Sales Coordinator will maintain files, systems and communication to other departments as directed by sales managers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills on assignments.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year sales/administrative or coordinator experience required, preferably in a hotel capacity

  • Hotelor Hospitality degree an asset

  • Familiarity with Hyatt Systems and Opera experience preferred

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel

  • Must be able to work independently and confidently, and establish professional relationships within the hotel and manage confidential information

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader

  • Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, must be an effective communicator and effective in providing exceptional customer service
