Hyatt Stewarding Manager in NEW YORK CITY, New York

This position reports to the F&B Manager. The Stewarding manager will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Stewarding Manager is responsible to manage the Stewarding Department as an efficient, and productive cost centre, by maintaining an organized and clean back-of-house area in Food and Beverage and by providing all kitchens, outlets and banquets with clean operating equipment, based on expected business levels.
Minimum 2 years experience as a Stewarding Manager or Assistant Manager in a hotel or similar large restaurant with exceptional standards
Strong communication, problem solving, employee relations and interpersonal skills
A sound knowledge of and proven experience in working with HACCP principles
Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies, cleaning agents and chemicals
Developed computer skills particularly in the use of MS Office and email
Be an engaged trainer, able to facilitate at all levels
A comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements
