Hyatt Executive Steward in OAK BROOK, Illinois

The Executive Steward is an integral part of the Food & Beverage team. This person manages day-to-day operation of the hotel's stewarding department. As the Executive Steward you will be responsible forassisting the culinary team with food presentation and food transportation. Additional responsibilities include dishwashing, organization, cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and food production areas. Other duties include scheduling, inventories, ordering, care and training of staff.

  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining professional and courteous at all times
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and leadership skills are required
  • Must be detailed and organized
  • 3-5 years of hotel management or supervisory experience in Food and Beverage is preferred
  • This position requires lots of walking, continuous standing, full mobility, lifting and carrying
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
