Hyatt Desktop Technician in OMAHA, Nebraska

Description:

*This position is based in the Omaha GCC and will work in the office. *

Performs the installation, maintenance and administration of all desktop/laptop/thin client computers. Provides first/second level Service Desk support responding to requests via telephone, email, IM and Service Desk ticketing system. Writes, maintains and updates hardware/software documentation necessary to build or rebuild desktop systems.

Qualifications:
o Responds to service requests in a professional and timely fashion, ensuring the maximum “up time” possible for workstation systems. o Display excellent customer service skills with every interaction. o First line troubleshooting of desktop related technology problems (hardware and software) for both in-house and remotely deployed customers. o Create/update/deploy desktop computer images, desktop hardware and thin clients to in-house and remote agents. o Manage user move/add/change process. o Working knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft WDS, Microsoft Outlook/Skype for Business. o A , Network , certifications are preferred. o Six months experience in technical support, help desk, and/or contact center preferred. o Ability to lift and transport up to 20 lbs. as needed. o Citrix/Xen Desktop experience helpful. o 2 years Information Technology related degree or 2-4 years technical support/service desk experience in a contact center environment preferred
