Hyatt Event Planning Manager in ORLANDO, Florida

Description:
The Event Planning Manager's primary focus is servicing in-house group conferences through the lens of participant experience. This position acts as the liaison between Meeting Planners and the facility staff. Responsibilities include: arranging all logistical details including, food, beverage, meeting room sets, audio visual needs, managing participant room blocks and auxiliary logistics. Event Planning Managers also are the on-site contacts and are responsible for the smooth execution of all events.

Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3-5 years of event planning or comparable experience preferred * Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, organized, flexible and be able to handle a fast paced environment * Refined oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, participants and facility business partners * Confident in face-to-face interactions and planning with meeting planners * Be computer literate and fully conversant with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Works to continually improve participant experience by integrating current event trends, participant feedback and personal judgment
