Hyatt Junior Sous Chef - Royal Palms Resort & Spa in PHOENIX, Arizona

Description:
Applicants must have a solid knowledge of food and be passionate about developing their management skills within the hotel industry as well as posses creativity and flair with the ability to provide guidance to others. Applicants must also be able to make quick business decisions and have a strong work ethic. This position requires working closely with the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef to oversee the day to day running of the Kitchen team.

Qualifications:
Applicants are required to have four to six years of operational kitchen experience with a diversity of culinary experience and a proven track record in restaurants.

· The ideal Junior Sous Chef will have:

o A good understanding and practical knowledge of cooking

o Proven experience leading a culinary team

o Working knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP

o Food Hygiene qualification

o Commitment to teamwork and good communication skills
