The Sales Lead is a non-management position within the sales department who has experience in the sales process and function.

Responsibilities include:

· Selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to customer groups via internet based lead websites with effective proposals · Analyzing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and discussing in review meetings as needed · Qualifying business with direct calls on potential clients and handing over to sales manager when appropriate · Utilizing Hyatt systems to properly track and record customer interaction

The individual may develop new leads and research new business potential.The Sales Lead also works as a team member with the sales and catering staff and in close contact with assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.

Must be proficient in general computer knowledge. Communication, with the ability to persuasively write about the hotel, and organization skills are of the utmost importance.

Qualifications:
* Qualifications: o A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment o Refined verbal and written communication skills o Must be proficient in general computer knowledge o A minimum of 1-2 years of hotel or comparable experience preferred
