The Wedding Coordinator is a non-management position within the events department for a fully competent individual who has experience in the event sales and planning process and function.

Responsibilities include providing administrative support for the wedding event sales managers and servicing weddings as assigned. The Wedding Coordinator acts as the liaison between Wedding Planners and the hotel operation teams as assigned, administering the event sales agreement, detailing all food, beverage and A/V needs, managing room blocks and pick up, communicating billing instructions, and reviewing the final bill. The Wedding coordinator is on-site during all weddings assigned and is responsible for their smooth execution.

Must be proficient in general computer knowledge. Effective communication and organization skills are of the utmost importance.

Qualifications:
* A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment * Refined verbal and written communication skills * Must be proficient in general computer knowledge * A minimum of 1-2 years of hotel or comparable experience preferred * Must be able to work nights and weekends when needed
