Hyatt Area Marketing Communications Coordinator in SAN ANTONIO, Texas

Description:
Job Overview: With direction from the Director of Marketing and Communications, assist in coordinating the day-to-day integrated marketing strategy for the hotel including, but not limited to: media opportunities, print and digital advertising campaigns, public relations and social media messaging.

*Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: * * Coordinate execution of marketing campaigns across all communication channels * Ensure each marketing project’s successful circulation through campaign cycle while tracking ROI * Ensure social media content calendar and monthly marketing calendars are kept up-to-date and implement day-to-day social media content across all social channels to increase audience (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram) * Monitoring review responses (TripAdvisor, Yelp, Expedia, Hotels, Google , etc.) * Manage, organize and inventory all marketing assets including photos, videos, press packets and printed sales and marketing collateral * Ensure consistency of published content across all hotel and outlet listings on various online website listings, includes proof reading and approving * Participate in brand training and development sessions * Ensure that the brand image and integrity is maintained at the property level * Supervise and execute the production of marketing materials, promotional and internal communications materials * Oversee monthly invoices to ensure prompt and accurate payment to vendors * Assist in coordinating all vendors including, but not limited to: photographers, graphic designers, videographers, media, app and website development agencies * Develop and manage annual local marketing budget and strategic planning process through Local Marketing Tactic System * Meet weekly withStrategy teamto stay current on changing business needs in order to develop tactics to address concerns and opportunities with hotel to determine key need dates and opportunities to drive revenue * Plan, research or coordinate print and digital advertising opportunities with approved corporate vendors * Conduct hotel’s monthly Marketing meetings * Establish relationships with the media at a local, regional, national and International level; maintain updated media databases * Review and approve all hotel press releases * Evaluate promotional opportunities presented to hotel as well as develop promotions and partnerships to meet the hotel’s marketing and revenue objectives * Develop, coordinate and publicize special events to generate positive awareness and support the marketing revenue objectives of the hotel through social media and HOPE program * Manage and handle all incoming requests for on-property filming, includes developing of location fee schedule and assessing value of requests * Assists in managing media statements on immediate PR situations with corporate * All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: * Excellent grammatical and written communication skills and ability to project “brand voice” across various marketing channels * Extreme attention to detail and an eye for effective creative strategies/tactics * Must be deadline driven and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Ability to prioritize projects based on deadlines and level of importance * Excellent organizational and follow through skills * Needs to be self-motivated, creative and a team player * Works well with others, across various departments * Experienced and comfortable managing social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram) on a professional level * Above average proficiency in creating effective PowerPoint presentations * Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator * Exceptional customer service skills with experience responding to negative customer feedback a plus * Understanding of SEO and HTML is a plus * Hospitality or Service industry background preferred * Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or Computer Tech preferred
