Hyatt Marketing Coordinator (Full-Time) in SAN DIEGO, California

Job Overview: With guidance from the Director of Marketing Communications, the role will assist in managing the implementation and tracking of the day-to-day tactics of the integrated marketing plan for the resort including, but not limited to: digital media, social media strategy content, and digital and print advertising campaigns.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: * Coordinate execution of marketing campaigns across all communication channels, with a primary focus on digital and social media campaigns. Manage day-to-day agency management. * Monitor, adjust and track each marketing campaign or initiative through each step of the cycle. * Develop the social media strategy and content calendar for the resort, outlets and golf course. * Implement day-to-day social media content across all resort, outlet and golf course social channels * Manager and update the monthly marketing calendar(s) * Manager reputation management / online reviews (TripAdvisor, Yelp, Expedia, Google , etc.) * Manage and organize all marketing assets including photos, videos, and marketing collateral * Ensure consistency of published content (updated photos, videos, copy and restaurant menus) across all hotel, outlet and golf course listings on various online websites * Create on brand marketing materials to promote upcoming resort programming and activities (flyers, activity guides, check inserts, posters, etc.) * Process and record monthly invoices and ensure prompt and accurate payment to vendors * Update tactic KPIs / performance in the annual marketing plan in the local marketing planning tool * Assist in coordinating all vendors including, but not limited to: photographers, graphic designers, videographers, media and website or digital agencies



Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: * Minimum 2-4 years Marketing experience required * Excellent grammatical and written communication skills and ability to project “brand voice” across various marketing channels * Extreme attention to detail and an eye for effective creative * Must be deadline and data driven and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Ability to prioritize projects based on deadlines and level of importance * Excellent organizational and follow through skills * Needs to be self-motivated, creative and a team player * Works well with others, across various departments * Experienced and comfortable managing social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram) on a professional level * Above average proficiency in creating effective PowerPoint presentations * Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator * Exceptional customer service skills with experience responding to negative customer feedback a plus * Understanding of SEO and HTML is a plus * Hospitality or Service industry background preferred * Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration or Hospitality Management is preferred.
