This Assistant Operations Manager will oversee the food and beverage areas within the hotel. Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. This person may also coordinate special events at the hotel. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager must have strong communication and analytical skills. Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful.

* Minimum of 1-2 years as F&B leadership preferred * Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred * Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader * Must be creative with a positive outgoing attitude * Adapts and thrives with change * Previous hotel experience preferred * Service oriented style with professional presentations skills * Proven leadership skills * Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset * Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line * Clear concise written and verbal communication skills * Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel * Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills * Experience in implementing new food & beverage concepts
