Hyatt Houseperson- Housekeeping in SAN JOSE, California

The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight. This is a fast paced position.

-Must understand English - Must be able to work flexible work schedule that includes AM/PM, Weekends and holidays as required. - Good communication skills - Answer requests from Room Attendants, Front Desk or supervisors - Put clean linen on room attendant carts Empty garbage bags, organize carts, assist with cleaning projects as needed - clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, offices and other work areas front of the house and back of the house. - Sweep/mop floors using brooms, mops. - Transport trash and waste to disposal areas. - May perform other duties as assigned. - Must be able to lift 100 lbs maximum with frequent lifting and or carrying of objects or pushing carts and other objects weighting up to 25 lbs. Climbing required as needed. -
