Hyatt General Maintenance Engineer A (Overnight) in SANTA CLARA, California

A General Maintenance Engineer A is an entry-level Engineering position at Hyatt Regency Santa Clara. Primary duties for the general maintenance engineer includes but is not limited to repairing kitchen and laundry equipment. Duties will also include preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting spaces and public areas. Training will be provided for the right applicant, but excellent communication skills and good customer service skills is mandatory. Training will take place during the day, but once training is complete this will be a purely Overnight position.

  • Must be available to work overnight shifts

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment

  • Hotel and/or Engineering experience preferred

  • HVAC, electrical, painting experience preferred

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
