Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of the opening team for the largest hotel in the Pacific Northwest! The Hyatt Regency Seattle is recruiting for a Culinary Supervisor, with a focus on our Banquet Line, to join our growing culinary team!

The Culinary Supervisor must have basic understanding of kitchen operations within the hotel. The Supervisor is responsible for producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner. Our Banquets Culinary Supervisor has basic skills in department training and is capable of assuming department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef. Skills and knowledge to include culinary education, basic cost control understanding, basic communication, leadership skills and computer skills. May assist in monitoring payroll costs & overtime. Responsibilities include the supervising of hourly cooks.

* Requires good communication skills.
4 years of previous line experience preferred.
Culinary leadership experience preferred.
Understanding and experience on banquet line preferred.
Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
Candidates should be able to perform all basic, intermediate, and advanced cooking skills.
Able to work multiple stations in the kitchen.
Able to work a varying schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
