Front Office Hosts are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquires. You'll be the face of Hyatt as a Front Office Host, and have a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impression for our guests!

In addition to working the Front Desk, Hosts will be asked to assist as a Hotel Telephone Operator (PBX). The PBX Hotel Phone Operator is responsible for answering income calls to the hotel and must have good typing skills, a pleasant attitude and excellent phone demeanor. When working as a Front Office Host or as a PBX Hotel Phone Operator, the individual will be answering a high volume of calls and should be comfortable in answering questions relating to the hotel and assisting guests with any questions or concerns.

Qualifications:

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others

  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

  • Open availability – including evenings (3p-11:30p & 4p – 12:30a), weekends, and holidays

  • Great and thorough attention to detail

  • Proficient in basic computer skills

  • Previous customer service experience preferred
