Hyatt Maintenance - Painter (Engineer 3) in SEATTLE, Washington

Description:
Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of the largest hotel in the Pacific Northwest! The Hyatt Regency Seattle is open and recruiting for a Painter at an Engineer 3 level to join our growing Maintenance team!

The Mid-Level Painter will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs related to paint, wallpaper, tile, and drywall throughout the property. Candidates must have 3 years painting and wallpaper background. Tile and drywall knowledge and experience is preferred as well. Candidate’s must be able pass respirator tests where required. As part of the Hotel’s maintenance team, basic troubleshooting skills related to general maintenance are required, and this mid-level engineer should work well on a team and independently.

Qualifications:
* Open scheduling availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • 3 years of experience in painting and wallpaper

  • Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

  • Refined verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances

  • Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 50 pounds)

  • Must be a team player but able to work independently as well

  • Is able to multitask and prioritize assignments.
