Hyatt at Olive 8 is currently recruiting for a Lead Pastry Cook. Our hotel is located in the heart of downtown Seattle, with a culinary philosophy offering a thoughtfully sourced menu, featuring local products.

Our Lead Pastry Cook position requires good communication and previous culinary and pastry skills and experience. The desired Lead Pastry Cook candidate will have cooking experience and/or a culinary degree. This is an advanced level pastry cook opportunity, requiring professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures.This is a fast paced position, which also provides assistance in preparing banquet or cafe menu items. Qualifications:

· Previous Pastry Cook experience

· Culinary degree or related culinary experience is preferred.

· Able to in the kitchen independently and within a team.

· Refined verbal communication skills.

· A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

· Ability to stand for long periods of time.

· Requires open availability including weekends and holidays.
