Hyatt Director, Loyalty and Partnership Marketing, Greater China in SHANGHAI, China


The Director of Loyalty and Partnership Marketing, Greater China, is responsible for the development and execution of World of Hyatt loyalty strategy for China to expand loyalty member base, drive engagement, and increase Hyatt’s share of wallet in China.

  • Leverage data and insights, and industry best practices to develop a holistic and integrated World of Hyatt loyalty strategy for China with a focus on loyalty partnership development
  • Be accountable for executing the above mentioned strategic plan, collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with the overall strategy * Be accountable for the loyalty performance KPIs for Greater China
  • Supervise and guide Manager, Loyalty Marketing, Greater China, to develop local tactics and plans to support acquisition goal for Greater China
  • Develop and manage relationship with partners in China, evaluate partnership opportunities and build effective partnerships to increase World of Hyatt awareness, support acquisition and deliver meaningful benefits or experiences to World of Hyatt members
  • Lead Manager, Loyalty Marketing, Greater China, and engage Corprorate and Regional loyalty leaders to ensure alignment of efforts and synchronization of initiatives


  • Minimum 5 years of proven leadership experience in Marketing or Loyalty,Sales & Marketing, Marketing communication
  • Experience in leading and managing loyalty programs or large-scale marketing initiatives preferred
  • Experience working in a multi-national corporation and in a matrixed environment
  • Hospitality industry experience an advantage but not essential
  • Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Business development experience
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels in the organization and across a diverse cross-functional environment
  • Strong time management and organization skills with an ability to multi-task
  • A can-do attitude, solid customer service orientation and strong leadership skills
  • Highly motivated, solution-oriented self-starter with adaptable teamwork style
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing
  • MBA a plus
