Hyatt Transition Manager – Shared Services in SHANGHAI, China

This position will be a key contributor in the deployment of a financial shared services solution within Asia Pacific consistent with our global shared services strategy and purpose. The Transition Managers will participate in the development and implementation, owning the end-to-end deployment of Shared Services Center in to hotels. This position will report to the Director of Shared Services Asia Pacific.* *Position Responsibilities include but not limited to: * Support a smooth transition to the Shared Service Solution with minimal business disruption and maximum effectiveness and efficiency * Ensure a good relationship with the Genpact process owner * Escalation point for Director of Finance during transition * Process improvement identification * Implementation of the Strategy * Assist with the development of standard processes and identification of gaps and remediation plans where certain activities are not consistent * Must coordinate with the process managers, Regional Shared Services Center leads and Shared Services Center office in Chicago

* Self-starter, capable of handling multi-faceted projects and of working under pressure. * Effective communicator with diplomatic skills, empathy and sensitivity. * Team player who is able to influence and guide staff at all levels. * Positive “can do” attitude and flexible approach – manages with humility. * High degree of integrity. * Good negotiation and influencing skills. * Prior experience as an Accounting Manager, Chief Accountant or Assistant Director of Finance preferred. * Mandarin language and English required. * Internal candidates or previous experience in Hyatt preferred
