Hyatt Director of Events - Hyatt Regency Shenzhen Yantian in SHENZHEN, China
-To be responsible for meeting the overall Events Department’s revenue and expense targets. -To assist with the preparation and regular update of the departmental budget, closely cooperating with the EAM - Sales & Marketing and the EAM - Food & Beverage. -To assist with the preparation of the annual Marketing Business Plan ensuring Divisional Objectives fully address business objectives of the hotel and the needs of associates. -To professionally devise routine telemarketing activities to identify new business opportunities. -To ensure an impressive Events Gallery is available to show prospective clients. -To remain fully up to date with competitor offers and client expectations, working with the EAM - Food & Beverage and Executive Chef. -
-Holds a diploma/degree in Hospitality Management specializing in Food and Beverage Management -Excellent Customer Relation Skills. -Excellent selling & negotiation skills -Well developed Food and Beverage Service Skills. -Prefer knowledge of wine styles and grape varieties. -Comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements. -Computer Skills, particularly in the use of MS Office, email, Delphi and RESERVE. -Minimum two to four years work experience as Director of Events/Catering Sales, -Catering Manager/ Banquet Service Manager in a luxury brand hotel. -Essential prerequisite is experience in Food and Beverage management. -Preferable prerequisite is experience in Hyatt International.
