Hyatt Hotel Manager - Grand Hyatt Shenzhen in SHENZHEN, China

Description:

*Responds to any changes as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.

Has a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel’s policy relating to grooming, fire, hygiene, health and safety.

Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily.

Participates in the Annual Departmental Operating Budget, determining projected revenues and expenses, operating equipment and FF&E requirements are in line with the compilation of the Annual Business Plan.

Monitors and is constantly aware of the local market trends and the competitor’s operations in order to continuously develop products and services to maintain and improve revenue streams and customer retention.

To perform any other duties as applicable as an Executive Committee Member of Hyatt International and the hotel.

Represents the Hotel at key events/ associations and chambers of commerce.

Qualifications:

Chinese speaker with a background in food and beverage.

Holds a diploma/degree in Hospitality Management specialising in Food and Beverage Management.

Excellent Customer Service Skills.

Excellent Communication & Analytical Skills.

Well developed food and beverage service skills.

Comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements.

Computer Skills, particularly in the use of MS Office, email, Micros.

Minimum one to two years work experience as Assistant Hotel Manager.

Essential prerequisite is experience in the Hotel and Travel industry.
