Hyatt Assistant Front Office Manager in STOWE, Vermont
The Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation and supervision of the front desk team for Spruce Peak. The Assistant Front Office Manager ensures the highest levels of guest service and that standards are in place. The Assistant Front Office Manager must have a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays especially during peak guest occupancy.
Essential Functions * Will oversee scheduling for employees in front desk * Assist in recruitment efforts and communicate with Director of Rooms and Human Resources about status of any open positions as well as the status for all applicants * Will monitor and control staff performance by administering annual performance reviews for the team * Will monitor payroll, submitting accurate payroll reports to accounting on a bi-weekly basis * Oversee the training and development of staff in such a manner as to ensure the highest level of guest service and satisfaction * To observe, report, or take immediate corrective action on deficiencies, malfunctions, or untidiness * Ensuring proper procedures are followed during guest check in and out * Solicits guest feedback via guest comment cards and acknowledges guest preferences for future visits * Other duties as requested or required by the Director of Rooms
* Prior hotel supervisory or management background required * Hospitality or guest service background is required * Hospitality Management Degree or Diploma is an asset * Results oriented with ability to be flexible and work under pressure * Good command of the English language, multi lingual is an asset * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record to meet company standards * Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Word, Excel, and Property Manager
