Job Overview:

As a Hospitality Professional for the Penthouse, you will be an integral member of the front office team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. You will have the opportunity to greet guests and assist them with their travel itinerary, reservations, and overall guest experience details. You will be able to meet guests form the local community and communities all over the world. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to promote hotel services and amenities to the guests, and connect the guest to local and authentic experiences in the community. This is a very unique opportunity to work with a supportive team and to work with guests from all over the world.

Essential Functions:

  • Create an environment to enliven the senses through personalized service

  • Ensure a consistent, seamless, luxurious guest arrival & departure experience including welcoming all arriving guests by name & providing personalized service from the elevator through Penthouse Orientation

  • Assist with the reservation process, reconfirm planned reservations, create guided itineraries for arranged activities and present itineraries at check-in

  • Gather & record guest information in SMS

  • Maximize revenue by promoting resort services, special hotel programs, packages & upgrades when appropriate

  • Positively communicate with all departments regarding in-house & arriving VIPs, including sharing any special needs

  • Arrange tickets, appointments & reservations for all guests while communicating with other departments, specifically the Spa and the Club, to ensure guests and owners are receiving their benefits

  • Support the creation & servicing seasonal family interactive experiences; such as Pumpkin Carving Contests, Putting Challenges & Gingerbread Making

  • Implement & update user-friendly communications including a welcome newsletter & daily activity board highlighting all amenities & events

  • Remain knowledgeable & inform guests about all Resort services &operations, local information, restaurants, shops & activities

  • Cultivate relationships with local restaurant partners for preferred access

  • Maintain guest services including the Warm Welcome Beverage Station, the Continental Breakfast Experience, and the Wine and Cheese Receptions

  • Assist the maintenance and housekeeping departments with regular upkeep of the Concierge Working Area, the Penthouse Lobby, and the Restroom

* Flexibility in your schedule is essential * Previous experience is preferred but not required * A passion for providing service to others and assisting them with creating authentic vacation or travel experiences * Must be a people person willing to go beyond the expected for our guests * Ability to communicate well both verbally and through legible and grammatically correct writing * A qualified applicant is a “people person” who is flexible with their schedule, loves to serve others, and knows how to multi-task while ensuring accuracy
