Hyatt Host/Cashier in STOWE, Vermont

Job Overview:

As a Host and Cashier, you will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, overseeing dining room maintenance and monitoring service to ensure guest satisfaction. You will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. This is a unique opportunity to interact with guests from the local community and from communities all over the world.

Essential Functions:

  • Warmly greet guests into the dining area

  • Proactively support the restaurant team while monitoring dining room activity

  • Collaborate with team members to communicate any special needs or guest requests

  • Utilize the freedom to go beyond and take initiative to resolve guest complaints and create loyalty

  • Enjoy multi-tasking at a fast pace while maintaining an organized host stand or work area

  • Sincerely thank guests leaving the restaurant and invite them to return

* Flexible schedule to include weekends, nights, mornings and holidays. * Previous experience passionately providing service to others preferred but not required * Familiarity of restaurant terminology and food service techniques preferred but not required * Must be a people person and must want the opportunity to go beyond the expected for our guests * Must be a great communicator and must have the ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through legible writing * Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older
