Hyatt Retail Sales Associate in STOWE, Vermont

Job Overview:

The Retail Sales Associate provides excellent customer service and assists guests with their retail purchases. The Retail Sales Associate also assists in maintaining a clean, properly stocked, and well-merchandised shop. In addition, the Retail Sales Associate provides sincere service through actions that display self-confidence, grace and courtesy to guests and colleagues. Position to begin in June 2019.

Essential Functions:

  • Greet every guest as they enter the retail area
  • Assist guests with merchandise purchases
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service to all guests
  • Properly rings up merchandise purchases
  • Maintains product knowledge of merchandise in the stores
  • Help to maintain merchandise displays
  • Ensure that all merchandise is properly tagged and presented properly
  • Answer phones in a courteous and professional manner
  • Help maintain the cleanliness of the shop
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and promotional materials
  • Maximize use of guest history information to ensure a high level of guest recognition and personalized service
  • Maintain an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events
  • Is knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and Resort policies

Qualifications:
* Point of Sale (POS) and cash management experience preferred * Retail experience preferred * Experience in high volume establishments * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Technical proficiency (computer applications) * Ability to multi-task * Ability to adapt to changing guest needs
