Hyatt Sunriver Resort Accounts Receivable Clerk in SUNRIVER, Oregon

Description:
//The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely disbursement of group and miscellaneous billings, as well s/he will issuing monthly statements and posting for membership accounts. The Accounts Receivable Clerk is also responsible for professionally corresponding to past guests in regards to billing challenges and posting payments, as well as issuing all gift certificates/cards. S/he will assist in maintaining the AAA Four Diamond Standards.

_ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:_

  • Prepares Group & Catering Billings & collections on these accounts
  • Work with the Sales & Catering teams to complete group file turns and process credit applications and deposits
  • Responsible for issuance of gift certificates and gift cards
  • Posts payments and charges in Springer Miller
  • Processes A/R reports for Resort
  • Answers and resolves all guest calls regarding billing challenges
  • Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office and business transactions including credit card receipts, registration cards, daily audit backup, and all Property Management Owner paperwork.
  • Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events
  • Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
  • Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
  • Communicates all pertinent information to the Accounting Team
  • Acts with responsibility towards all company property, supplies and equipment.
  • Attends all appropriate department, division and resort meetings
  • Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Sunriver Resort dress code standards.
  • Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all times

Qualifications:

_EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:_

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least six months accounts receivable experience required
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • At least one year customer service experience preferred

  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
  • Must have excellent phone etiquette
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Must have strong computer skills
  • Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Must be able to work well under pressure
  • Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
  • Must be highly detailed orientated
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must have excellent listening skills
  • Must possesses excellent communication skills
