Hyatt Lead Host - Front Office in SUZHOU, China
Assists the Assistant Manager in efficiently managing the Department according to the established concept statement providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times.
Liaises with Housekeeping and other related departments on daily operations.
Handles guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and reports guest complaints or problems to Assistant Manager if no immediate solution can be found.
Establishes a rapport with guests, maintaining good customer relationship.
Ensures that the cashiering and credit procedures are strictly adhered to.
Organizesand liaises with Housekeeping Department to ensure that the established cleaning schedules are strictly adhered to.
Ensures that all guests’ messages, mail, fax and parcels are handled and distributed properly.
To ensure that all guests check in/ out are being handled according to the Departmental Operations Manual requirements.
Ensures that all guest information and documents are being handled in a proper manner to protect the confidentiality of guest information.
To ensure that guest’s room number is not given tounauthorizedperson as to ensure maximum security for the in-house guests.
Ensures that all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented where appropriate.
Ensures all Traces are handled and distributed promptly.
Ensures that all guest requests and requirements are attended to promptly and handled in the correct manner.
Ensures speedy, accurate and efficient telephone and message service at all times.
Ensures that communication and co-ordination of all Departments, with particular emphasis on the interactions between Concierge and Front Desk, Sales, housekeeping, Maintenance, Telephone, Security are smooth and efficient. .
Responds to the results of the Consumer Audit and ensures that the relevant changes are implemented.
Works closely with other management personnel in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
Ensures that the Front Office associates work in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments, in a spirit of “We work through Teams”.
Ensures that all guest details are entered correctly in accordance with the principles of clean data.

Familiar with all emergency procedures and ensure can follow the procedures once emergency case happened
