About the role
Hyatt Hotels is currently seeking a Global Sales Director - Luxury, Lifestyle and Leisure to drive guest preference into Hyatt hotels globally.
Working closely with the Global Sales and Marketing specialists and Hotel Sales and Marketing departments, this position will be responsible for driving and implementing our Luxury, Lifestyle and Leisure business goals. Developing Agencies in Hyatt Prive as a direct channel, managing our Leisure Distribution Strategy and focused on increasing market share from our competition.
Developing robust and Strategic Account Plans within Luxury, Entertainment Agency arena and Leisure/Tour Operator landscape will be essential. This role will have full accountability in creating and developing segment activity and initiatives in securing premium business to our hotels and brands from the Australia and New Zealand market.
Responsibilities include overall Account Management, agency RFP’s, programs, promotions and B2B marketing opportunities.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Director of Sales or Associate Director of Sales capacity with experience in Luxury agency and TMC markets within a luxury hotel group. A strong knowledge of the luxury agency market in Australia in preferred. A self-starter, the Global Sales Director will be capable of working independently with very strong follow up and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with professional personal presentation is essential in this role. This role reports on a day to day directly to RVP Sales Operations, with a strategic reporting line to Vice President Global Sales – Luxury, Lifestyle and Leisure.
This position will be working from a home office, Sydney preferred.
