Some of the responsibilities: * Ensures that the Guest Services activities in the Guest Services departments are aligned with the respective Corporate Strategy, and that the Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate. * To identify market needs for the Guest Services department. * To plan the outlet weekly rosters and work schedules to ensure that the outlet is adequately staffed to handle the level of business. * To ensure that all Guest Services staff are well versed in hotel products, services and promotions. * To ensure effective day to day operation of the Guest Services team. * To have a full working knowledge and capability to manage, correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks in the assigned place of work to the set standards. * To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food & beverage items on the menu and the ability to recommend food & beverage combinations and up sell alternatives. * To conduct and/or contribute to regular departmental meetings and daily staff briefings. * Encourages employees to be creative and innovative, challenging and recognising them for their contribution to the success of the operation. * Works closely with other Outlet Managers in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests

Qualifications:
* Permanent residency or unlimited working rights in Australia * Current NSW RSA Certificate * Well developed Communication and Customer Relations Skills * Excellent problem solving skills * Excellent Complaint Handling skills * Extensive knowledge of Sydney * Well developed Computer Skills particularly MS Office, email and Hotel Property Management system (preferably OPERA) * Good trainer, able to facilitate at all levels * Essential knowledge of hotel operations A career with Hyatt opens a world of opportunities.
