Hyatt Overnight Team Leader – Front Office in SYDNEY, Australia

Description:
* Assists the Front Office Management Team in efficiently managing the department according to the established concept statement providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times * Ensures that all Front Office employees are familiar with the hotel’s products and services, current promotions, policies and other important information. * Assist to develop the skills and effectiveness of all Front Desk employees through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring. * To oversee that the issuing, accessing and closing of safety deposit boxes and completion of the relevant documents is carried out according to hotel policy.
* To ensure that Front Desk staff is aware of all activities within the hotel (Food and Beverage functions, restaurants, meetings and banquet function, arriving and departing VIPs, etc).

Qualifications:
* Well developed Communication and Customer Relations Skills * Well developed Computer Skills particularly in the use of MS Office, email, Fidelio/Opera and basic systems interface * Good trainer, able to facilitate at all levels * Comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements
